ADMISSION TO MEMBERSHIP

• Application for membership must be made in such form as the Proprietor may from time to time prescribe and the Proprietor shall then consider the application. The Proprietor shall have the rights to approve or reject any such application at its sole discretion and shall not be required to give any reason for refusing any application.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

• Membership as an Individual Member shall be open to individual persons at or over the age of 21 who as sole proprietors or as senior executives carry on business on a world trade basis or support the objectives and purposes of the Club.
• Spouse, dependants and guests of on Individual Member shall be allowed to use the amenities, facilities and services provided by the Club subject to and in accordance with this Constitution and Club Rules and Regulations hereunder.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

• Membership as a Corporate Member shall be open only to those bodies legally constituted in Hong Kong and dedicated to the objectives and purposes of the Club.
• A Corporate Member shall nominate an individual or individuals (“Corporate Nominees”) to make use of the facilities of the Club but the Corporate Member shall be responsible for the conduct and liabilities of its Corporate Nominees while they make use of such facilities. A Corporate Member may apply to the Proprietor to change its Corporate Nominee(s), subject to payment of such fee and to such other conditions as the Club may from time to time prescribe and provided that all dues and charges for which the Corporate Member is responsible have been duly paid.
• Spouse, dependants and guests of on Individual Member shall be allowed to use the amenities, facilities and services provided by the Club subject to and in accordance with this Constitution and Club Rules and Regulations hereunder.

ABSENT MEMBERSHIP

• An Individual Member who will be absent from Hong Kong for a minimum period of one year may apply to the Club for absentee status.
• The General Committee may at its discretion determine whether the Individual Member is an Absent Member or not and Individual Member is required to pay an Absent Membership Fee which is equivalent to three months' subscription fee for absentee status.
• An Individual Member who wishes to apply for absentee status must give a written notice to the General Committee of his desire to suspend his membership, return his membership card(s) and pay the appropriate Absent Membership Fee in effect at the time of application.
• During the absentee period, an Absent Member will not be liable for Monthly Subscription and neither such Member nor his spouse and dependants will have the rights to use the Club's or Reciprocal Clubs' privileges. Should an Absent Member wishes to reactivate his membership before the expiry of the minimum initial 6-month period, he will be required to pay all unpaid Monthly Subscription from the beginning of the inactive period as a condition of reactivation of membership privileges.
• The maximum time limit for Absent Member status is 3 years unless the Proprietor otherwise agrees.

• Any outstanding bills of the Corporate nominees will be borne by the company.
• Any charges incurred by the supplementary cardholders will be the responsibility of the principal cardholder.
